Why does everyone say Barack Obama is black when his is half white?
The reason that I ask is because I actually got in a small fight with someone over this issue. They said we need a black president. I said I don't care if they are purple ask long as they do a good job. Then I made the mistake of adding that Obama is only half African (black). f he was half Russian and half French you wouldn't just call him Russian would you? Plus why do people even care what race/color/sex/creed someone is? Isn't the president (or someone running for that office) supposed to represent the people? It should be their views and ideas that we care about!
