I was excited to have an opportunity to live stream, for the first time, during a photo shoot. It's saved, so feel free to check out the fun times. There are 2 parts. Unfortunately, I do go out out screen for part of the shoot. It's also not shot from my best angle, but you know I have assets on board.
I come back into the screen for you to enjoy. I was collaborating with #chadnovak for our 4th hopeful shoot. One has already been accepted! It will drop into member review for you to enjoy in about 3months and 1week! I'm excited to bring you another set, with more to come. Just more opportunities for you to love on them. Helping me turn pink, and becoming an official SG. A serious goal of mine this year! To join the rankings of such incredible boss babes.
For those of you who don't know, I'm a handicappable woman. So it takes a special photographer, and in this case one with a cool wifey. To help me achieve my goals, for my sets, most recently shot for the site. Hopefully they all get approved.....one has so far, one is awaiting approval, then more to turn in! It's so exciting!! It allows me a creative outlet, and much needed distractions, from my chronic health issues. That's another reason I enjoy the live feeds. I can stay at home and still interact with people from all over the world. I'm definitely grateful for this community and the people it's brought into my life thus far. I hope it continues to do so. It has been an empowering experience.
Friday, there was snow and freezing rain here. (That being said, I know there are many living in worse conditions. My heart goes out to those situations impacting so many, and so much.) I'd been planning and ordering for this photo shoot for awhile. Especially, since I missed shooting for Christmas and New Year's.
Last minute, my makeup artist canceled, and my hairstylist canceled. Going to a new hairstylist the day of my shoot for cut, color, and style was less than ideal. I'm not pleased with the outcome. I hadn't gotten my hair done since early summer, so it was definitely in need of styling. I would have gone sooner, but my handicapple booty currently needs helping hand getting around. The photographer, braved bad road conditions to get me on my walker, with multiple bags. The hotel lost power, and we lost day light. Regardless, this expensive hotel was going to charge me the cost of the room. I live on a very fixed income, so I knew this was a major stretch for me, as it was. I was relieved, that we made it to the room, when they finally got power on. My photographer had to drive an hour from my house to reach the hotel. He definitely showed off his great driving skills. I'm beyond grateful to my photographer and his wife. I was able to collaborate with #chadnovak on multiple sets, in this diverse and unique room layout!
All that being said, I was thrilled to be able to go live while we shot one of the sets. Not giving too much away as I went....just enough to spark your imagination. I enjoy having upbeat music in the background to get into my photo shoots. This time, I was going for some old school hip hop. I want to shake my booty sometimes, but that doesn't photograph well. I appreciate everyone who tuned in. If you missed it live, it's recorded for your enjoyment.
It's just another way that you can get a unique look into our lives behind the scenes. I didn't have my walking aides, like a cane used for this shoot although they are always on set. At one point, I almost fell out of my heels. That's okay, it's all part of the process. I did fall on my second set. Which was an outdoor set. So trust me this was nothing. I can laugh it off, either way. Especially, for this pain warrior!
I look forward to seeing the edited sets. After awhile, my photo shoots become a blur. So, I anxiously await the photos and hope I did well. I was definitely distracted on set due to pain, and the continuing uncertainty of the day. It's also frustrating to have a medicinal license and not be able to vape on set. Hotels don't recognize that it's a medicine and doesn't impact their room with odors as cigarettes would. Soon enough it won't be so cold and I will be able to enjoy outdoor sets again. With plenty of puffs of vape, or bong tokes.
I continue my quest and mission possible to achieve a front page set to become an Official SG. Please check out my 4 existing hopeful sets and show them some love. Looking forward to sharing set #5 with you, in around 3 months, shot by #chadnovak. I met #chadnovak and his wife @blackheartburlesque showcase in my area. I just happened to share my extra chair with them at my table so graciously provided to me by @sunshine. Allowing this handicappable woman to have an incredible night out supporting the incredibly talented tattooed dolls on the tour. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it!!! I happened to start to chat with them and a connection was made for us to plan to shoot together. They've been instrumental in allowing me to shoot since October 2019. I tend to only get help for doctors appointments so this was a much needed escape from my reality. They've been completely empathetic and compassionate to my needs as a handicappable woman and model. I recognize my determination and tenacity every single time I overcome obstacles and challenges. I'm truly grateful for the support of this community thus far. Just keep it coming!
