I've been pleased to see so many handicappable women, empowering themselves, by modeling with this great site.
I've lived with chronic health issues, that took me from teaching, since 2002. My health unfortunately, became even more challenging 5 years ago. Throughout it all I've tried to remain tenacious and handle it with as much grace as I could. I discovered many things about myself and the world thus far on this handicappable journey. I've proven to be able to endure more than I ever would have thought possible. I'm fortunate to get an endorphin release when modeling for my sgh sets. Allowing me to move in ways that I may not be able to on a daily basis. I pay for it in pain, swelling, and at time tremors at times following a shoot. It's worth every moment!!! I feel empowered and hopefully will turn Pink at some point soon, one of my major goals!!! Unfortunately, something else that occurred is that many family and friends disappeared from my life. That was a challenging reality to face, especially when my health leaves me homebound at times. When @rambo recruited me I was very flattered, never envisioning myself as a model. It also was an opportunity to join a sisterhood of like minded tattooed dolls. I've been learning as I go. I believe that it isn't what we're dealing with, but how we choose to deal with it that makes all of the difference. With tenacity I remain hopeful. A true pain warrior. I commend both @nymph and @wheelsandpearls for displaying their handicappable modeling skills in their amazing and unique sets.
Hopefully this allows other handicappable hopefuls and suicidegirls to come forward and discuss their unique journey. I hope to empower others and let them know that you never should give up on yourself. Strength despite pain and adversity truly makes an individual beautiful. Best wishes one and all.
