So, here it is!!! The world famous cone of chocolate truffle (if I'm wrong, please swich the words, google is not helping too much blush )

A tip: don't use the pure chocolate, cuz it is a bit hard to work for who is not use to work with chocolate. The chocolate to cover is a kind of chocolate that is mixed with vegetable fat (palm oil) and only not with cocoa butter; or the hydrogenated fat(but it will decrease the flavour for being a mixed chocolate). The best chocolate to make it is the chocolate to cover, it is more cheap and more easy to handle, Work with chocolate is easy, but you have to understand that chocolate can be "moody", chocolate doesn't like too much heat or direct flame (only water bath or microwave), no water while working with chocolate and chocolate needs all the attentions to "himself", don't cook anything while cooking with chocolate. If you respect that, the chocolate will respect you and he will return that love to you (being so delicious oink ). Another thing, only put the chocolate to melt for one minute, each time. Maybe your chocolate needs even less than a minute, so please pay attention or you will loose all the chocolate!!!

Ok, so I just found that you can probably use chocolate chips or Choco Bake by Nestl. Any chocolate that says in the packing that you can melt with no problem will be just fine biggrin

Ingredients:

A pound of bittersweet chocolate (so your cones won't be too sweet)

Ice cream cones (you can buy at any bakery products store, even at the supermarket)

Any filling you want, but it needs to be thick (peanut butter is a bit sweet, but you can use it if you like) You can even put some fresh fruits, but you have to eat before 2 days and you have to cover all the cones, cuz the crispy cone will be floopy.

Method of Preparation:

Ice cream cone

Get you cones and start filling the really well, but let a finger of space on the top, you will cover there with chocolate, and you want a thicker cover, so your filling won't scape.

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and take it to the microwave for one minute (if it didn't melt, put another minute or 30 seconds, but first mix it to be shure it melt it or not, sometimes melted chocolate don't change the shape, only if you mix it). After melting the chocolate, try a bit on your lips, it should taste a bit cold (the chocolate melts and it needs to be colder than your body temperature). After that, put a tablespoon of chocolate only on the top of the cones, only enough to cover the top.

And put it in a cup to dry in the refrigerator

After it gets dry, drop the cones into the melted chocolate and use a fork (or 2) to help you letting the cone all covered with chocolate

And let it dry upside down, on the refrigerator. There I'm using a baking foil, but you can use parchment paper. But you need to use one of those, or your chocolate cone can break it when you try to get it out of the dish

After that, it is done! Enjoy it biggrin

I really hope you like it and if you have any questions, please ask. I love to learn new things and teach to the others what I already know.
