Waaah....the tank is cracked. By this I mean the cold water tap in the loft. Apparantly it has been doing it for ages - the chipboard that it is resting on is rotten and mouldy. Nice. Anyway, as a result I have been hunting for the stop tap all morning*, and found it boarded up in the cupboard under the stairs. All systems go! The plumber and his friend/helper are in my loft doing god knows what as we speak. Scary!

*When I say all morning, I mean I rung my landlord, who is great - but had no idea where it was. So I waited until the plumber came and had a scout about to find it. So, not really all morning
