I have not had a bath since last thursday. This is not say i have not washed - but the water heater is broken. The element went. Plumber and electrician in to fix it and they tried to fix a second element too - it broke the tank. This led to a leak which has saoked my bedroom floor, and ruined a book i was lent. Then, plumber arrives with new tank at about 4.45pm today. Gets it up the stairs - its too big for the cupboard. The one we need is an import and god knows how long it will take...I cried. I want a bath so badly!

On the bath front - a friend of mine used to have a tin bath which they put up on bricks outside and built a fire under it. All it needed were some wooden struts in the bottom of the bath so you didn't burn your arse! I have a picture somewhere of her in it in the snow :S
