Hola! I'm back! I moved to lovely York last weekend, and am finally back online today. I wouldn't be online until the end of April if i had not rung BT this morning - apparantley when i rang to tell them i was moving home the dozy moo on the other end thought i said i wanted the broadband connected on the 28th April! Like i can last a month without it...anyway, the lovely man on the phone this morning said it would be connected by next week and that he was crediting my account with a month's broadband free as they cocked up. And i came home to find i'm already reconnected. Hurrah!
York is great so far, but sadly i think it will be the death of my finances. My rent has already gone up by 200 a month, and after recieveing the water bill this moring i can add another 17 onto that every month....I did move to York on promotion, but the extra money has all been eaten by the rent. I may actually find myself worse off
Andy is moving in soon though, so he can help with the phone bill and food until he leaves college in July, when hopefully he will get a job and be able to help with the bills properly. As he is a student i will still get the 25% reduction for student discount that i get now for single occupancy, so the council tax will not be too bad for a while....altough i expect this will go up by at least 20 as well. I hate money! Still, i think it will be worth the financial 'challange' in the long run. After all, i have escaped Bridlington (the most backwards town known to man) and i now have a job i will enjoy. It just means that unless you guys come to me there will be no SG meets for me this year and no Download. I am pretty gutted about that but hey ho.
I am going to post pix of the new flat at some point as it is gorgeous....and my landlord is great! Shock, horror, no?! The cats (only 2 now) are seemingly unfazed by it all, and are currently behaving themselves. I only hope this lasts...I'm not sure what else to say right now. Its good to be back. I know its only been a week, but i have missed this place. Sad huh! I'll update more when i can think of something to say...or when i have got off my arse and taken pics of the flat.
Don't forget - The set a shot with Social goes live in MR next week....i am so stupidly excited!
