I just wanted to update. They removed 2/3 of my grandmothers stomach and her lymph nodes around her stomach. Today I found out that there was aggressive cancer in the lymph nodes and she has to go through chemo (however you spell that). I'm just trying to keep spirits up and my family sane. It looks like I'll be here for a while.

heh heh. i can't support myself just selling clothes and shoes (which is what i love to sell, cuz i love shopping for them - it makes it suck so much less when i find an awesome steal that's not in my size!). some people do fine just with clothing, though - they're really zealous scouts, and i just don't have it in me. also, if you're crafty, there's a big boom of selling DIY items - modified t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. add a little lace, some puffed sleeves, stich on some cutesy decal . . . if you're going to give selling a try, i'd suggest putting up a few really cool, quality items that will very likely sell so you won't get discouraged - plus it'll set you off on the right foot, if you're superstitious

Anyway, you know I have heard that before. Building your own canvasses saves alot of money. You said in your "Makes me Happy" that painting is something that makes you happy. I like the black and white look with a little bit of color. It makes me think of Frank Miller's work with Sin City. I have been waiting for over a decade for those comics to be turned into movies and it was definately worth the wait, it was great.
