OK - time for my "every 2 years" update!
The kids are growing up - my daughter is a Junior in high school, and my son is in the 8th grade. They're both great kids. I'm NOT looking forward to paying for college. I really hope my daughter gets into MIT because I work there and it would be totally free! One big catch - it's almost impossible to get into LOL But if anybody can do it, she can. She's so smart.
My wife is doing great - playing ice hockey and soccer to stay in shape. She has way more energy than I will ever have. I still play badminton and volleyball, but I need to lose weight.
I'm totally loving the Patriots these days - we went to the Monday night game and watched them annihilate the Jets 45-3. It was too sweet to describe. Also loving the Red Sox - they picked up Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez in the off-season. I can't wait for opening day. It's my favorite day of the year.
My other hobby is concerts - made it to quite a few this year. I'd say the highlights were the Dixie Chicks (opening for the Eagles), Heart, Rush, Taylor Swift, Lilith Fair, Butterfly Boucher, ALANIS MORISSETTE, and Mindy Smith. I'm going to see Liz Phair tomorrow night at the Paradise. I haven't seen Liz in ages! She actually opened at my very FIRST Alanis show ever back in Feb 1999. I've seen Alanis 82 times in total over the past 11+ years. Alanis is due to have her first baby any day now, so I doubt she'll be touring again any time soon!
