today is cold. -25C (-13F) if your lucky, but -33C (-27F) if you're unlucky enough to be caught in the wind. And its pretty windy too.
If you've never experienced extreme cold conditions before, there's really no point to find out if you've already made it this far in life. I grew up in this stuff, so a -50 degree windchill is still really scary to me, but it won't kill me outright like it would a Californian.
Oh yeah, and all the fluids in my truck were frozen when I woke up this morning. Power steering, joint lubrications, differential gear fluid... all that. Took bloody forever to warm up. Aaahhh...c'est la vie.
... does anybody know how long it would take for an ear piercing to grow over? I'm thinking of moving on and putting these things in the past. I've had them for 12 years now and I'm afraid that they aint ever gonna grow over. Maybe I just need new earings. Hmm.

my appartment is too hot as it is, and I don't have a thermostat to adjust the heat. another body in there would make it unbearable.
