At lunch I went to a panini joint around the corner from work. The cute Ita-girl who works there snuck a little container of olives in the bag with my sangwichi. Either she's sweet on me, or she's celebrating Italy's draw with Mexico, or I am delusional.

I'm not a fan of olives, but I ate them anyways. One or two in a martini, sure... but that many in one go, thats too much oliveness for me.

Today I calculated grade relationships and adjusted the affected elevations of the curent project. I'm working of affordable housing for students at University of Waterloo. Students need decent housing, I hope the builder doesn't cheap out, because these have the potential to make a nice little student community. Lots of places to grow/smoke pot. Cozy little basement appts. with big lightwells ready to be filled with rusted up bikes and recycling bins full of pizzapizza boxes. And staircases with double height windows that need at least 3 canadian flags to cover up.

Ah school daze....

There seems to be an incursion of Black Bears into my neighborhood, no foolin', the authorities are asking us not to feed them if we see them. Just keep on drivin'.

I havent seen one yet.
