Heat index was 105 today. Played softball this evening and then went for three mile run. Needless to say I didn't smell very good by the time I got home. The shower sure did feel good tonight!

Two days of Freedomfest in DC were awesome. Great live music, especially The Nikki Bare Band. Getting ready to head to the roof to watch fireworks. HAPPY JULY 4TH!!!!!!!

Working from home today, but spending more time catching up on SG news than working. I do have my mobile office set up which is putting a strain on my WiFi. My work laptop, iPad & Motorola Atrix laptop dock are all connected at once. So far so good.

Planning two more vacations this year. Heading to Washington DC over July 4th weekend. Then going to Las Vegas in October.

Lazy Sunday. A little hung over. I helped a friend cook in a BBQ competition yesterday. It was a lot of fun and we drank a lot of beer. Finished 3rd in beef, 3rd in pork, and 2nd in chicken. Pretty good showing.

I got home from my trip to Denver last night. I went ahead and took off work today too. This will give me a chance to catch up on a little sleep and relax some before heading back to work tomorrow. I'll give a longer post about the trip later today.

Flight leaves for Denver in 13 hours. I hope the Nuggets win game 5 of the playoffs. If they do I've got tickets to Friday night's game 6 in Denver!

The last couple days I've been catching up on movies that I had not seen yet. Watched "Due Date" and "Dinner for Schmucks". Both had a few funny parts, but I'm glad I didn't pay to see them in the theater. I'm watching "Black Swan" now and then "Inception". I've heard very good things about both of these.
