Hey aIl! I was absent for a little bit, but things are back on track now. I'm settled into my loft in St. Louis and have been to a few Cardinals games already.

Getting ready to head to Vegas on Monday. Should be a fun trip even though it is for work.

Hanging at the apartment tonight. Cold an snowy outside. Fridge is stocked with beer so no need to go out.

The excitement of moving to St. Louis is starting to wear off a little bit. I love my apartment and location in the city, but I'm not used to sitting at home in the evenings. I've always had activities scheduled to keep me busy. I have not found my groove yet, so spending more time at home on the couch than I would like.

So I've been in St. Louis for two weeks now. Things are going well. The job keeps me busy. I also met a couple new friends to hang out with on Wednesday nights. Things are off to a good start.

The holidays have been great from a pernsonal perspective. All 5 of my siblings have been in town for the holidays and to celebrate my parents' 70th birthdays. Dad's birthday was Dec. 8th and Mom's was on Christmas Day. Having the family together was the best Christmas present that I could ask for.

Went in to work today. I did get a lot of paperwork done, but it sucks going in on a Saturday.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and nice, so I am going to play golf. I have played since May, so I'm sure I'll lose a few balls.

It was a good holiday weekend even though I had to work on Friday. I cooked up a blck bean and rice casserole to take to the parents' house for Thanksgiving. Watched a lot of football this weekend too.

I spent last weekend in the Washington DC area spending time with my brothers. Friday night we had dinner and bar-hopped in old town Alexandria. Saturday we watched the Mizzou football game at the Crystal City Sports Pub. Then walked up to the Tortoise and the Hare to watch live music. Overall a fun weekend and a good visit with my brothers.
