July 8th-10th. It's not even a month away.
WEMF is coming up so fast. It's going to be my sisters wedding and before I know it, I'll be at WEMF. I can't do anything Canada day night because of my sisters wedding the next day and I am occupied July 1st for a couple hours in the morning to do rehearsals which means I can't go downtown until later.
Whatever. It's not that big of a deal. I can cope with a couple hours when I am not downtown. I believe Canada Day is the funnest, craziest day in Ottawa every year. There are hundred of thousands of people that go downtown to celebrate. I am going to have such a great time.
I haven't been able to go for a couple years because I have been in BC and Alberta the past couple years. Every year that I celebrated it downtown, it has rained expect for one year.
There is this store called Norml Clothing that sets up a dj booth and plays music outside for the whole day, when 6 pm comes around, they bring the decks outside and it's totally a party in the road. All these ravers show up and it's great. I remember one year, I arrived at 11 am and stayed there until 10 pm, then when they closed down, I heard pouding bass come from another street just down the road and stayed there until 11:30 dancing. What a great time.
Hopefully Norml still puts this on.
