I have a habit of falling off of ladders, usually at christmas time. I get about 2/3 the way done with the lights, I reach too far, and BAMMO! Down I go. After 5 knee operations, falling like that starts to hurt, but I do it at least twice a year, every year, putting up the damn lights.
If I don't have pain killers, I go for option #2 - vodka! Our russian friends made a wonderful drink that will numb any pain. Spaceeba!

Other than the few bumps and bruises i'm fine. My hand is still numb, so i'm pretty sure i did some nerve damage. I refuse to go to a hospital though, i hate hospitals. *shudders*
