Last night was a surreal expirence. After the Block Party a few of my friends and I meet up and starting pre-partying over at one of their apartments. One of our friends was supposed to meet us their, but ended up getting really drunk at her work and wandering home. She finally called us and told us that she would meet us on the corner by her house. We all walked over there, but she never showed. So we decided to walk to her house and check on her. When we got there the smoke alarm was blaring, smoke was coming out of the house, and the doors were all locked. We banged on the windows and doors for awhile, but couldn't wake her up. Finally my buddy broke the window with a hammer and unlocked the door. I ran in and pulled our passed out friend out of bed and carried her outside to get fresh air. She was showing the beginning signs of carbon monoxide posioning. I guess she had decided to cook herself some food and then passed out with the pasta on the stove. Basically it was a lot of smoke and no fire. The shitty thing is, this wasn't the first time she's done this, or the second, but the third. Also, it's really scary b/c she lives by herself. That girl really needs to get a handle on her boozin'. Wild weekend.

I liked it. I had left my car out by state and my roomate had to drive me to work. So when I got off work I called my sister to pick me up, but she said her boyfriend had her truck and he was at the mall going to the movies. I work at the mall, so I called his phone and met up with him and one of his friends and ended up seeing Van Helsing. Then he took me to my car (which was pretty damn far, so I got lucky, since we live at the beach). I don't know why I felt I needed to tell you all that. Whatever. I've heard a lot of people say they didn't like Van Helsing, but I thought it was pretty good.
