i really love my life. AND i'm getting chickens soon!!!

so the past few weeks, though hectic, have been pretty amazing.
fall in new mexico is fucking magic. there have been trips witht the man and the dog down to the bosque, tons of living room dance parties, fu manchu last night -though it kinda sucked, flea-marketing every saturday morning, jewelry-selling at street festivals, art shows, event-planning, and on friday i'm modeling in the Craft Punk show at launchpad, in addition to running the coffee bar at a show at my space that night. yikes. busy but good.
i've been making delicious meals, supplemented by the fruits of my winter garden! radishes, arugula, spinach, lettuce, chard, and kale. i love my man so much and it feels so good to be in his home. tonight i'm making stir fry with shitakes, arugula, ginger, and yellow onion, plus miso soup with tons of green onion. and then we will watch antiques road show.

so about my chickens, my family will come up from texas for thanksgiving (yay!!!) and my dad and brother will build a coop. super excited to have fresh eggs/cheap protein source on the horizon.
