6 months since my last blog?? Where does the time go? Lot's to catch up on, most of it crap. Started off the year with a break-up, but we are still good friends. Haven't had a date since then, but I don't seem to have time lately to worry about it. Lost my job in May and have spent the last 3 months searching for "the right fit". I never thought finding the right job would be so difficult as an ER doctor, but I wasn't willing to settle for anything that came along. I've spent the last 12 years in the Chicago area and I've seen my fill of gunshots, stabbings, overdoses and all the other bullshit that comes with working in the inner city. I decided it's time to go back to small town living and just took a job in SE Indiana about 45 minutes west of Cincinnati. I rented this great old 1927 house for now until I can sell the place I own now and I get the keys tomorrow. My son will stay in my current house until it sells and it's a short 3.5 hour drive to visit.
As for high notes over the last 6 months, I went to Costa Rica and rented a house on the beach with some great friends in April (pics to follow), have been reading a lot of non-medical fiction, still playing co-ed softball with my son and his girlfriend and spending lots of time with my buddy Osborne.
Costa Rica pics
Did a little zip lining
Met some new friends

Did a little fishing
Got dirty on the quad tour
Had to prove to the young kids I could still do a back dive without killing myself
Lot's of pool time. It was rough
Some of the locals enjoyed our pool as well
The sunsets were amazing. This is how I spent nearly all of them
I don't remember it being a full moon though
Had a little more work done on the back piece. Not a great pic though
And last, but not least, my buddy Osborne saying good morning
I hope you are all well. Have a good one!
Peace
