Time again for an update. I kind of disappeared from SG for a couple weeks. Kind of been in a funk lately, but slowly pulling myself out of it.

Random stuff going on lately:

I just started watching The Walking Dead and got caught up to the current episodes. Where the hell have I been? This is a great show!

My son and I have been going to the gun range for weekly zombie shooting practice. He's getting pretty good. My dad taught me how to shoot when I was about 7 or 8 years old. It's strange to me that it took so long for me to teach my own son gun safety and how to shoot.

Work has been crazy busy the last few weeks. It saddens me that I diagnose so many new cancers in the emergency room. My nurses say I can "smell" cancer. I don't know what it is, but there are times when I see a patient and something just doesn't feel right to me and I end up finding the Big C. I've never known any other ER docs to find so many new cancer cases. Last week I found 3 new cases in one day. I had to go home and drink myself to sleep.

I'm heading to Costa Rica in 40 days. I can't wait to feel the sun on my face and have a belly full of fresh seafood and tequila.

I bought a guitar. I don't know how to play, but I am determined to learn.

I agreed to photograph a friend's wedding in April. I haven't shot a wedding in years and am pretty nervous. It's a special day and the pictures are key. I just don't want to mess it up.

The White Buffalo's new album Once Upon a Time in the West came out today on iTunes. I'm very happy about this. He puts a lot of heart and soul into his music. I will leave you with a vid of one of my favorite songs. Enjoy
