I just had my 3rd model get cold feet. I have been chatting and talking to her for months about doing a shoot. Today was suppose to be the day. Not a big elaborate artsy shoot. Just a simple little get to know one another shoot. She texted to tell me she was almost there. I went out to meet her. Saw her drive into the parking lot then drive right back out.
I have been doing photography for years. I learned photography back in the days of film. Between the cost of gear, film, processing and more I abandoned the art form for a couple of decades. Then my daughter started High School and fell in love with Color Guard. By this time I had a decent Digital camera but had not used it much. I decided to start taking pictures of her with the Color Guard. Now, 3 years AFTER she graduated, I am still taking pictures of the High School Color Guard. Not only that I take pictures of the area's other guards too. (I live in Oak Ridge, TN but take pictures for Guards all around the East TN/Knoxville area. Post the pictures on Social Media and let the performers and parents of performers have copies of the pictures at no cost to them. My way of giving to this community.). This past year I actively decided to start a photography business. Portraits, custom shoots, headshots etc. It has been slow starting but I am building a good portfolio beyond Color Guard.
I also want to do Boudoir, Erotic and Nude photography. Thus why I am here on Suicide Girls. I have been hitting social media, chat sites, and other places to find models. In particular adult models. The first woman I met who showed interest in a photo session never would commit to a firm scheduled time then disappeared. The second woman I met did schedule a session, then rescheduled, rescheduled again and finally said "oh, I am sorry, I forgot I had promised a friend I would dog sit this weekend. Let me get back to you to reschedule." Then she disappeared.
Now, I did meet a 3rd woman. (a Suicide Girls hopeful... and an OnlyFans Creator.) After some initial scheduling conflicts, we did get together and do a shoot. It was fun, got some great pictures from it. She used quite a few on her OnlyFans site and sold a fair number of packages of them too. Now she wants to have me do another set of pictures for her here on Suicide Girls. Just got to find time to get together to shoot the session.
Which brings me to #4. I met this woman around the same time I met #3. She is also a creator on OnlyFans. She was nervous about doing a shoot with an actual photographer. She had only done selfies so far. I showed her pictures from the Session I did with #3 and this convinced her to book a session. Took a while to set a time, but we did. Today, at 1:00. Like I stated, she drove into the parking lot then right back out. She texted to apologize for backing out. She says she still wants to do a shoot. She wants to get to know me first.
Even though I am disappointed the session did not happen, I do understand her point. There are a lot of creepy guys out there using the "I am a photographer" line to take advantage of women. The last thing I want to do is make a woman feel uncomfortable. I am pursuing this type of photography because I truly love it. I love women of all types. I am really hoping #4 doesn't disappear on me. She is pretty, smart, nice and would make a great candidate for this site. Life has taught me patience and understanding may take longer but, makes it more worth the time in the long run.
