Started the year working through the last days of 2004 and headlong into 2005 non stop ...into the wicked February humidity...the only time of the year I could hate Sydney ...[well ,for a couple of the days maybe]...have leapt from the arms of poverty already and am determined not to waste a day of this year....and to try to save some of the fucking thousands of dollars instead of showering the world with thankless generosity....went shopping for some clothes yesterday [ I hate shopping for clothes]...bought heaps of lightweight cotton pants and things , new bedding , including two seductively soft pillows which make love to your head all night long , doonas , those long white soft towels that you only see in hotels [ 120.00 each..]..and lots of other gadgets which I can add to the ever increasing population of other gadgets , most of which I buy for sculptural pleasure rather than actually practical reasons.....I have a 500.00 toaster ... a Dualit... and it makes the worst fucking toast I have had...I had a fifty dollar Sunbeam before and it was perfect...but the Dualit is such a wonderful looking object I just yell at it occasionally and it improves its game for a while , then stainlessly steels back into its curvaceous chromium lines and lolls there between the wonderful Kitchenaid Blender and the Processor , peeking sideways at the Cadillac Red Miixer ...all wondering what the fuck they did to deserve such a luxuriosly easy existence.....my favourite room in the house ...the KITCHEN....so anyhow ...am enjoying crisply perfect timing with all those who mean anything to me workwise and peculiarly , everytime I approach a red light on the road it turns green for me...this has been happening since New Years day , when I decided to celebrate the years first day at work...it seems that it is ALL GO for me...such a pleasure after the last few years of hardship and long red light moments....so to my Guardian Angel ...thankyou !!!
