well , rather overdue for a new post..have just purchased a series of second hand cameras on Ebay at a ridiculously cheap price , mainly Professional Pentax and various AF lenses that not too many years ago would have cost two arms and three legs...I find digital is too limiting sometimes even though it is instant and all that shit .Hard to beat a great 35mm or two and a quarter square camera , darkroom and real photographs on a beautiful sheet of Agfa Brovira paper or the like .
I have a son who is seventeen and our place is littered with artiscopes , cameras , laptops and stand alones [ five computers in all] both Mac and PC plus iPods , cable Tv , high speed wireless internet , routers etc ..mobile fucking phones by the armful...aaaahhh !!!..feel like going back to the cave and starting again...so I thought photographically thats what I would do ..
Just setting up a darkroom , have placed an ad for some models and have had 28 replies ranging from delicious nude fire dancers to this wonderful Korean professional who massages me everytime she comes around plus offers to cook for me ...feel like I'm in Heaven these days..and Sam is learning the Art of black and white photography , something that few will know in years to come probably.
Amazing though for anyone who is interested , there are the most amazing bargains on Ebay camera wise .. especially in large format 5x4 inch and larger.
So I may out do myself and print /scan some images of my new band of women in this journal as soon as i get it all complete and up and running .
