Why Hello SG! Long time no internets.
No, I have nothing of consequence to report, I just wanted to see how you were doing. Don't look at me like that, I know I've been working hard, but it doesn't mean I don't care. It's just been an insane summer, you know? Weddings, many, many weddings, and more to come next month, so I will be traveling. Maybe closer to where you are (but probably not - damn conservative Pennsyl-tuckians.) Then hopefully off to the Sierras for a bit, then back down to New Orleans in September. Racking up the miles these days, both on foot and in the air.
I was a bit sad that I didn't make it to SD ComicCon this year... then I saw the crowds in Hall H, and suddenly remembered why I didn't go. Still, missed seeing some great friends down there. Next year? Next year.
In other news, I pulled out my fathers' old bow and spent more or less the whole day at the range on Sunday. In some sense I have more of a connection to him through certain objects, like that bow, than I do from any photograph or home video. It's a strange thought.

I've been to NOLA many times and it never ceases to be a delight. We are going then in order to reduce costs, but I am a little afraid of the heat. We shall see!
