(was going to edit last post, but the tonal shift was so wildly inappropriate, I decided to start a new one.)
So my dad is in the midst of chemo, and dislikes his liquid food with a passion. I can't tell whether he hasn't absorbed the reality of it, or if this is just him, amazingly, treating this the same way he hastreated eveythign else in his life, with grumpy stoicism punctuated by bursts of crude humor. Anyway, I will see him in a few days, spend the next week PA-way. The truth is they don't really need me to help around the house per se, more to get the finances straight and make sure he doesn't get fucked by insurance and debt. Also, form my end, just to be there. Because I'm too fucking logical, and I know the math.
But then again, I'm also a gamer, so I know sometimes people do actually roll a natural 20. (That probably sounds really weird to most of you.)
