So it looks like my dad will start his first round of chemo this week, then another two weeks after, then surgery. This means I'll be heading to PA around Labor day.
I don't think the scope of the treatment has really sunk in for him yet. He keeps telling me how he's going to be going for walks a couple weeks after. I tired to explain that this is not like an outpatient procedure, without upsetting him. But his ability to not listen is remarkable.
In better news, had a great time wine tasting with _joker yesterday, and picked up some badass curry mustard from the Hop Kiln Winery. Damn good. Today, a BBQ. I are stuffed.
