Work deadlines are approaching like the first wave of TIE fighters in the Battle of Endor, and I am sick as a dog. Need drugs now, but I don't want to go out.

I have always loved the phrase "I cannot afford to get sick." The higher somebody is in the company hierarchy, the more often they use it. It's sort of the white collar wussy corporate version of "I ain't got time to bleed."
