Looks like Perry Farrell finally has the Satellite Party myspace site up and running. Seems Tony Kanal from No Doubt is out and Peter Hook of New Order is in on some jams. Listen to a few clips.

Personally they sounded better on the early clips from last year's 2005 Lallapalooza. Still a bit better then Navarro's new band The Panic Channel. Perry is just too unique to replace.
