today has been... uneventful. that fact makes me a little sad, and a little bored. i woke up with spott, sorta... mostly enough to tell her to take the car i wouldn't need it today. before she left for work, she told me "be lazy today. everyone needs that sometimes.".... so i went back to sleep.
and woke up around 10am to the phone ringing. it was dee asking if i was still going running. of COURSE i was still going running! my ass is starting to hurt from the extra work its been doing, which in a way is good... reminds me why i'm running every day, and lets me know i'm doing enough to be worth it. dee said she'd be over in 20 minutes.
when she got here, we went out for our run. i've noticed it is easier for me to keep moving when its raining and maintenance is NOT mowing the lawn. stupid allergies. stupid asthma. GRR.
after we got back, dee & i were sitting around my living room talking about a whole lot of not much, and it occurred to me that i hadn't thoroughly cleaned anything besides my bathroom in way way too long. i started picking up, and that didn't take long to make dee crazy... she hates sitting still to begin with, and having someone else working in front of her... yeah, i can understand completely. she ended up helping a little, washing the top of one of the tables and moving things while i was vacuuming. then i sat her at the computer to talk to one of my friends while i was finishing up some things, and after that we played some neopets games--just to explain to her what i would have done all morning had she NOT been here
. spell-or-starve is addicting like crack.
anyway, a little while ago she left to get lunch and her swimsuit, and now dee is back. we're going swimming in the pool at the community center. it has been open since memorial day, and i still have not been in that pool.

Is that what you call lazy? I call much of that work! But swimming and running in the same day sound good. I used to like running in the rain... there's hardly anyone else out there.
