my pale girl was here last night for quite a while. we managed to behave ourselves until froggie got home. when he DID come home, i told him she was wound damn tight, and he told me to take her upstairs and "unwind" her. which i did. damn. just damn. there are handprints on my ceiling.
i am adjusting to being exhausted. i don't know if that is a good thing or not.
my pale girl spent the whole weekend in town, sleeping at her in-laws' house if not much else. that is, considering she was either here or out with me most of the time... she even showered here twice.

yesterday was laura's baby shower, which went very well. between her unofficially adopted mom, her boyfriend's mom, and me, we had everything covered except prizes for the games. they didn't really need them anyway--the games were just something fun to do. we have a TON of food left, including almost half the cake. if you want some, let me know. i'll FedEx it to you or something. i just want to get it out of my house!

anyway, i've been following the froggie and pale girl story and i must say, i'm a little envious. but as you know, it helps a lot to have faces to put with the story, so thank you for posting them. i think the showering together is one of the nicest things and i miss it. see? envious!
methinks getting used to that particular kind of exhaustion is not the worst thing in the world. ~kiss~
