for a couple of days there, i wasn't sure i was going to survive... brutal work days and sick with a bad cold at the same time. like i told my boss "i'm standing today by the good graces of dayquil!"
i got out of work a bit early today (to "convalesce", but really cuz i didn't wanna be there after the beating i took yesterday and this morning), came home to chill for a while, and then went to shopping/dinner/movie in at friend's house. hellboy is fun regardless of how many times you see it. personally, i like the "loveable demon" contradiction. while there watching the movie, i drank 2 smirnof ices... which usually wouldn't be a big deal, but as i've been sick, i've also been eating less... and seeing as i'm a lightweight to begin with, i'm currently waiting for the last bit of buzz to go away so taking nyquil won't take me too close to coma. SO... here's a post! heh.
i start my new job monday. training should be interesting, considering how many different computer programs i have to learn to navigate in the next couple weeks. because i've been getting paid to know how to use computers for 5 years, and i was a student before that, i'm pretty solid on navigating software. however, i've heard the system there is pretty complex.
i like challenges especially when i get to be challenged while wearing my own good clothing. this navy blue and khaki thing gets on my nerves once in a while. can't i just once wear GREEN?! anyway, with any luck, i'll have enough challenge to keep me engaged in the training classroom so i don't get bored. i would rather not get paid than get paid to be bored.
