work sucks hard enough that being busy (literally running from customer to customer), being agitated, and being too warm caused me to have an asthma attack friday at work. woohoo. and i still didn't get out on time. not even close.
yesterday was good. spott & i sat around reading until early afternoon, then went to rochester to see brokeback mountain. before the movie we had a quick dinner with spott's jew and the boy (no offence to any jews out there--spott's friend jokes about it all the time), after which i made the boy blush by sniffing him. twice. then off to the movie we went, spott, the jew, and me... i should know better than to not take a box of tissues when spott's jewlette chooses the movie! she always manages to pick tear-jerkers. i mean, the kind that make you want to sob in your seat. so there i was, watching every argument i've ever had about my significant other being afraid to commit being hurled larger than life across the big screen by 2 gorgeous men... with tears streaming down my face. and the scene at the parents' house... i didn't even try not to cry, i didn't try to wipe them away. i had tears dripping off my chin. and the jew sitting next to me was doing about the same. after that movie, we went back to the jew's dorm and watched save the last dance. it was appreciated for what it was, i'm sure--a silly-fun teenager movie. then spott & i came back to buffalo. along the way home, we passed a car on the side of the road... then passed what appeared to be the driver of said car walking... weird. yes, we called it in, no, we weren't the first. we got home with no additional oddities.
today is supposed to be laundry day. so far is sit and play on the computer day for me, and read a book day for spott. i'm considering reading too. i got a bunch of books for christmas that i haven't even touched, and i just got another written by a friend of mine. ahh well, i will get to them all eventually...

So, I take it you liked the movie? I was still up in the air about seeing it. I really don't like leaving the house too much in the winter, but we haven't been having wintery weather recently...

I am never going to get over that movie! (well, not soon anyway). Next time my Jew (Gothic Elf) picks a movie, I am sitting in the middle.
