first let me say there is a hell of a lot of snow outside right now, and it continues to fall.
today was a weird day. not bad, certainly. it seemed every time i turned around my boss was standing there looking at me, and not really in a bad way. he'd be sporting a grin, and often he even had his glasses off--which i love, and i'm certain he knows it. generally, i don't seem to exist for him unless i'm in his way. a few times today, i know he had something to say that he didn't. especially when he stood in the break room door... to break the pregnant silence, i asked if he was getting his sports update (from the tv that i was paying no attention to), and he replied "yes, that's all i'm here for," rather sarcastically. if it wouldn't have put my job on the line, i'd have said something right then...
work was REALLY SLOW. i'm guessing that's from the snow, and it was the reason i noticed my boss so often. i made up stuff to do for most of the day. it was fun
. mostly, though, i wanted to be at home, drinking hot chocolate and watching the snow fall from behind my sliding glass door. perhaps snuggled up with spotty...
spott came to get me a bit earlier than i expected, and that made me happy. it took twice as long to get home as usual, of course, because of the snow. when we DID get home, though, i got jumped for a thorough kiss... which turned into a tickling match and giggling... which lead me to realize that if i don't get some soon, i'm going to hurt someone. health issues or no health issues, i want my girl.
on that note, i'm off to feed my neopets before they revolt due to starvation... later.
