Hi ...I will be sure to take wonderful pictures of the fall colors for you. I plan on hiking up to a place called the "Vista" and getting some in the fall as well as another trip to the Gorge...so there will be plenty of pretty photos.

I drove past the Arches on the way to Oklahoma once...I really wanted to stop and check out the scene but time didn't allow for it. Glad to hear the entire event wasn't gloom and doom...that is tougher than ever when it turns out like that...

Wow! Thats got to be some of the most screwed up shit i have ever seen on the net.

Read the testimonials, they're all so selfish! These parents are wacky:
"Our 15 year old daughter Mary wasn't very popular and did nothing but mope around the house bringing everybody down, so we decided to marry her off through your site. Now our house is a lot cheerier and we love our new swimming pool and Jaccuzi! We've told our youngest that when she turns 15 we're going to marry her off too!"

_Mrs. James P."

I can just visualize a mom saying that to her friend over a cup of coffee, laughing, and taking a deep, sad sigh.

so far this weekend i've done a bunch of napping and not any real "shut down the brain for extended hours" sleeping. mostly that has been to fit plans in...

when i came home from work yesterday, i napped until Spott and i had to get up to go get her new tattoo - a biohazard symbol, about the size of a quarter, just behind...

Sleep rules....! I just am getting set to finish reading a book this evening...then bed and then work and then read and then sleep and then work....what a viscious cycle. I had a kick ass weekend overall though. I haven't watched much tele in the past days or movies....waiting for a few good ones to come out soon on dvd before I venture into the house again to watch. while the weather is nice. I stay outdoors! I took a bunch of nature photos and posted them up on my blog today from my trip on friday. I need some longer day trips and overnighters before the year is up. ANother trip to gettysbug seems to be in order also...

Work always sucks...always will...that's why it is work. I don't believe we are ever supposed to enjoy it which is good...the day I enjoy work...that's the day I need to be admitted where I WORK. Regarding being ahead of trends...being behind...you could always find yourself like me...hopelessly lost and sort of clueless. Always wearing outdoorsy type clothes of some sort...wide brim hats for function to keep my bald cap from scalding...woolie tops in the winter, anything that normally is comfortable for me is strictly what I use or wear. Strict function mostly. What kicks is the fact that everything that was once cool and no longer trendy like wool sweaters, pea coats...etc...it comes back around eventually...haha. I would say I am a bit retro and it works fine for me overall!

I can't remember the last time i went to a theatre....I have been to the drive in several times this year but not the theatre....

so i did it... i ordered custom boots from the catskill moccasins booth at the sterling renaissance festival. knee high, dark brown, flat bottom boots, entirely custom so every part will fit perfectly. :o)

i scared the hell out of the fitter, margaret, while she was doing her job, though. i have kind of low blood pressure for the most part, and standing still really...

Yum...i have a bit of a boot fetish I guess folks would say. I love boots on a woman! biggrin

Whoa...a lightheaded episode...i have plenty of those...i call them brain farts and they have nothing to do with anything but my short attention span. Take Care of yourself...those are the little things we refrain from letting our parental units know about...smart thinking!
the_deacon:
Oh my heavans....i like those boots. Very hot! except not on legs that skinny! eeek and a big thanks on your thoughts regarding my character...seriously...Thanks! One of my problems I always thought was my openness...i can be read like a book. most of the time...except for some reason my co-workers think i am mysterious... whatever And I do agree...Linds and I have been talking more lately as well so things seem to be going good...she leaves on tuesday for Africa...so that will be 3 weeks of silence from her altogether..it will be tough.

Britt just wore out her welcome with about a million small behaviors and things changed when she took this new job earlier this year...she grew colder. I do know for the most part what I want in life...so I will focus and move onward! But back on those boots...hell yeah! biggrin

I had a ton of friends who went to work in rochester in nursing after we graduated from college. they all eventually came back around these areas...don't know why? probably complained they were too cold. lol.

Yeah. the strip club had me in stitches! When you first asked how far rochester was from Falls Creek, I thought you were going to offer a back rub...I was excited! haha!!! What type of table are you thinking of desinging? I have almost all handbuilt items in my home anymore...
the_deacon:
Regarding the back rub...Oh sure....likely excuse...next you'll tell me you don't entirely like guys! wink
Now onto the serious side. I like the idea of the collage on the table. Interesting. Sounds easy enough to build up.maybe go with 3x3 or 4x4 post like legs for sturdy feel...they made "offset" brackets" for fixing the legs onto tables...I have a bunch of coffee tables I made and used the brackets. they are cheap and can be obtained anywhere like Lowes, Home depot, etc. They allow the tables legs to be fixed outwards just a teeny bit for setting the stability. Just a thought.

I have done a great many inventions at my house...i have a swinging bed in my spare bedroom...it hangs fixed to the rafters in the plank ceiling on large hemp ropes. Very very sturdy and seems to be a focal point of anyone that tours my home....everyone love s it...and is amazed at the sturdiness and comfort. I made the frame out of cedar wood sides and large pine base. I should take some pics of that too....so many projects, so little time!

egad!

Zoetica plans to send me some of her clothes! she asked for advice a while back on how to go through her wardrobe in order to clean out. along with a bunch of other people, i left my own bit of wisdom. she says she used one of my ideas, and is going to reward me with a gift!

*does little excited dance*

yay!
the_deacon:
and what was the gift?
the_deacon:
Yeah...I don't remember the accident. I am actually quite sure I dozed off.... eeek and yeah...that isn't too cool but I am pretty sure that is what happened. All is well though.

stretchy layer toppy thingys...what the? haha....you'll have to send me one so I understand! wink

if every material thing we create is made from something of the earth, then isn't literally everything just dirt waiting to go back?

do you ever stop the racket in your head and just revel in being?
king_mob:
No, if I ever stopped the racket in my head, the ball would hit the floor and roll under something. It's a real bitch to get it going again too. biggrin

the_deacon:
LOL...I know what u mean! Finally some warmer temps...then today hit in the 50s again...up down up down...make up your mind! I am so waiting for the weather to brighten and break into nice days...as in day after day...

Oh yeah...someone remind Mr Bush again what global warming means...I think the tard doesn't quite get the jest of life!
