Im suppose to be goin home for a lil bit before goin to japan. Im sure everyone is tired of hearin about it on sg but bein a simple farm boy form a small town to becoming a marine and barely seeing home has changed and shaped me alot. Ive seen friends and other people who swore up and down college was the way in school but they still live at home in their parents basements... i wonder if they were right sometimes but i think ive came out on top because ive been to places they can only dream of and have more college and schooling and training then they have. *sigh* i dont regret anything especialy joining the marines i guess this is just me talkin out loud because i cant sleep. I've been all over this country training and soon i wont be in this country i love so dearly. The more i think of home, friends, family i realize why we do what we do. My prayers, thoughts, support goes out to those men and women who stand ready for this country and her allies who cant be home to see thier families. This is realy the farthest ive been from home and I enjoy the freedoms its givein me and seein new things and tryin different culturaul expierences. Still homes home and no one night stand can beat the kiss from your dog and no salute or hand shake will ever take the place of a mothers hug or a dads hand shake of aproval. If i dont go home oh well im doin what i love and gettin paid to do it so im happy. Besides skype twitter facebook myspace i keep in otuch with everyone back home when i get the chance too.
