@skisby well, I'm not sure where the apples gonna fall, it concerns me because whatever happens in the states will always bleed into Canada. The gun rights, 🔫 crackdown on the military 🪖, and immigration are just a few of the things that have had major repercussions in Canada 🇨🇦. Thing is Canada never really had any problems with firearms, we're pretty restricted already, but once it became a larger issue in the US, it became a big issue here. Our rifles are already semi automatic and we aren't allowed clips bigger than 5 rounds. From a non owners perspective that's pretty restricted.  Immigration~wise Canada can't take more immigrants because we are having issues housing our own citizens at this point. This is becoming a major problem. Climate change,  the military and so on. its all coming home to roost as they say...
