Hello to my fellow SGs :) Hope everyone is having a brilliant day, i want to share with you some of my excitement for the upcoming travels to the Highlands in Scotland.

Just one more sleep until i can be free and wild again<3

I have recently decided that there isn't any other place on earth i find more peace and serenity from everyday life. Roaming through the wilderness, dancing in the rain and sleeping under the stars, i feel like i was born to live here.

Apart from the fresh clean air, there is a presence within the Highlands that truly makes me feel at one with nature and for those of you who have never visited the Highlands, you really must. Even now i still cannot believe it's within driving distance of my hometown and when it comes to returning home, i always leave a piece of me behind.

Seven days of true wilderness camping, nothing but a tent, sleeping bag and some food. It makes you appreciate life in a different way. Mother nature is a beautiful creature.

The images within this blog are taken by myself and are a true adaptation of what Scottish life is all about, there will sure be more to follow within the next few weeks so keep updated. Stories to tell? Places to visit? Have you been and if so where?

Does anyone else share this passion and if so why? Tell me your stories, adventures, maybe even some pictures :)

Untill then,

Redberrytree X

Scottish Highland Cow . Or...probably to you...Just a Highland Cow ? Or just plain Cow ?  They are a sweet breed. The females in any case. I was a vet tech and would aid a vet I worked with in the care of one. She was at a local zoo (very well cared for and much ,loved despite being in one) ,was gentle and a bit of a (as the vet called her) a "snuggle bug". Would calmly allow injections and other medical care without so much a a tail swat. She was Very upbeat and actually playful. Which could be a Bit of a problem when you are that large. If you stopped scratching her head and nose she would push your hands back with her snout. I miss that girl. (sorry for the ramble). PS...she LOVED snow days. lol
