Well, I did visit the LaBelle Cemetery today and I found the statue of the woman that weeps blood. Alas, she was being coy and wouldn't tear up for me but what a beautiful statue. People leave coins in her cupped hands as an offering, maybe for good luck, and of course I followed suit because lord knows I could use some luck.
I did not see any ghosts drown themselves or have any trouble with my camera, though I was watching diligently. Oh well. Maybe next time.
I'm kind of in a sad mood right now, I don't know why. Looking at the SG sets is making me feel kind of lonely so I better divert my attention otherwise. I bought Bill Cosby Himself, and PCU on dvd today for shits and giggles (though I really was looking for the movie Pecker), so I may watch that or something amusing while I work on some stained glass tonight.

I'm feeling a little down about my banner now because I had a lengthy conversation with Springtime (old sugarcube member, I don't know if you knew him) in my LiveJournal about ways to improve it, and the improved version is so much better than the one I submitted. I think the one I submitted will get rejected, but maybe if I'm feeling brave enough to step up to the banner-approval gods again I may submit the nicer version after a few months have gone by.
