my time spent at my mothers was alright but i felt like i was totally imposing on them and wasn't welcome. my mom has recently re-discovered "the lord" and is a born again born again christian. she was totally pushing the whole god thing on me when i was there. i was raised that way and i was all into the whole religion thing up until i turned like 10 and was old enough to realize that things just aren't that easy. problems aren't as simple as praying for them and seeking the lord and every thing works out. ya so that was difficult an di actually made my mom cry a couple of times by telling her to give up on teh god thing because she's not winning me over. other then that it was nice to get away and get a different prespective to things.
i feel like i owe justin a second chance; an opportunity to redeem himself. things have been going well. we've talked about SOOOOO many different things in the past week and have both learned a lot about the other person. justin is going to a therapist to help him with his anger issues. we're both working on ourselves individually so that we can eventually get back to the level of relationship that we had before. it is going to take me a long time to trust him again and to feel any sort of respect from him. it will be a struggle for both of us but in the long run i think it will be worth it.
some other news in my life:
i wnet to the gallery i worked at last summer to catch up with the curator and she wants me to do a show there next spring/summer when i'm done school. i'm sooooo excited. i hope that this will be the motivation i need to get things done this school year. i'll be working towards something!
i also was offered a co-op sort of position today at an arts school near where i'm going to be living. it's through this program that i was volunteering with last winter called DiscoverAbility. i did some weekend workshops with them and had a blast. i can't remember the name of the school they want to place me ait off of the top of my head but it should be a good experience. i would also like to be a teaching assistant at sheridan again this year...we'll see if i have time for all of it. at least the co-op will be for school credit!
anywho...i have to go and do some studying for my mid-term which is tomorrow. it's for art and politics in renaissance italy. the mid-term is on the medici's in florence, the sassetti chaple and also nobility and rulers in urbino. i hope i do well. wish me luck!

As for your issues with Justin, I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, though with something this extreme you do need to be quite careful with your personal safety. But if at some point he does do this again just leave. I know it will hurt but if it happens twice you can't stay. Just leave and never look back. On the up side I do hope that you two will come to a resolution here and that it's al good from here on out.
