wow....i can't believe it. i've been having so many problems lately with osap and financing for school and not knowing how i'm going to pay for my school next year. i just got an e-mail from my mom saying that she is going to GIVE me $5000 with only one stipulation. i don't have to pay her back...i have to give 10% to "god". now, i know to her this probably means the church, which is something that i'm very strongly against. i'm not about to walk into some church and drop $500 into the offering plate. however, i'm hoping that i can convince her to let me give the 10% to some sort of christian charity. i'm sure there is some christian outreach for homeless people in toronto or even a womens shelter maybe. i'll have to do some research on it. anyone know of any notable christian charities?

but yeah.. i need to figure some shit out and then i'll be able to let you know for sure.. the raise brought me right up to the level i wanted to be at so hopefully my finances will work out for all of us
