i went to the eye doctors today and found out something about my sight related to celiac disease. i basically have scabs on my retinas...all the way around the edge of them on both eyes. the doctor told me that i have a 100% chance of having cateracts before i'm 60. YAY! i also have an astigmatism and my sight is getting worse. my perscription is now -4 which means i need glasses to be able to find my glasses in the morning. on the plus side i picked out these really cool, sexy, sophisticated glasses.

tonight justin and i went to a 25th wedding anniversary party for a couple that were very influential to me when i was growing up. my mom became a single parent when i was about 3 and they took my brother and my mom and i into their home and let us live with them. they treated us like their own kids and we even spent a christmas with them a few years later when i was about 7. they are such an amazing family. there must have been 150 people at the party. i had lost touch with them for the past 5 years or so until we went into their store that they own in london just before christmas. it was wonderful to catch up a little bit again and to see their kids who are close to my age. i shed a few tears when everyone was sharing stories.

i hope that some day justin and i are like them. i really admire them.

anyways...speaking of my love, i'm giong to go and climb into bed next to him and snuggle up in the nook between his arm and chest and rest my head on his shoulder....le sigh
