Here's my situation. I've been unemployed for a LONG time now, most of that time was drawing unemployment and such. Jobs in this small town are scarce so there's no chance of me getting one before my back up funds are exhausted.
My sister, when my grandmother was ill, built an add on to her house so she could stay with my grandmother and my father while she was on her death bed. After my gran's death, my sister continued to live with my dad. The added on portion is about the same size as the house I'm living in now. It's two bedrooms, one bath, and a living area. It's connected to the rest of the house through the kitchen. My sister's mother is now ill with cancer, so she has to stay with her, my father is alone now. My sis has advised me to move out and live with him until I can get another job, so it'll save me money, and keep him company so he won't feel so alone. There are no questions really about this. I'm doing it.
There comes a time in life when things become stagnant and unchanging. I've decided that this will be the perfect time for me to gather my thoughts, plough through the books I have yet to finish, begin on the paintings that I've never even started, get my manly "figure" back, and take care of my father at the same time. YAY!
Given that my funds are going to be low, there may be a small chance that I won't be able to keep my membership. I pay for a year, but there's no telling how long I'll be without a job around here. So if any of my friends care enough to keep in touch, I'll give out my myspace, since I'll still have access to a computer because that's how I make my cash.
