Well.. I have some good news.
My job is closing down and moving the seperate assembly lines to different places. I work on the Volkswagon line, and it's being shut down and moved by May. I was asked the other day by my boss, "hey, when this line is shut down, would you be interested in going to Slovenia to train them how to operate it?"
I said... "ARE YOU KIDDING?!? OF COURSE I WOULD!!"
So I'll be going to Slovenia. I don't know if they're going to wait till the whole plant shuts down or just my line though. So I could be leaving in May, or sometime after September. I'll be there for a whole MONTH, with everything PAID FOR!! Housing and food. Transportation and what have you. Slovenia is right next Italy, and underneath Austria. I can't fucking wait!!
It's been forever since I've had something good happen to me. I really don't know what to think about it. I'm sure I won't be able to sight see as much as I'd like since I'm there to work, but I really hope I'll get to see alot of stuff. Also, if anyone from or around Slovenia just so happens to read this feel free to drop me a line and talk about showing me around or something.
