Well for all of my knowledge about computers, I am a moron. So I've been collecting parts to build my own computer for the past few months and last night I finally started putting them together. After about 5 hours and a few initial problems booting it up, I finally got it started. Only then did I realize that I made the dumbest possible mistake. Instead of buying a full version of windows xp, I bought an upgrade version. After physically building a computer from scratch I'm thwarted by a stupid mistake with the opertaing system. I feel like I should hang my head in shame.
But going along with the theme of disappointment, I found out today that the Hurricane festival is sold out. Of course I would have bought tickets yesterday before that, but it was a German holiday, and everything was closed. Bogus. And I was so looking forward to that fest. Hopefully I'll find another good one sometime soon.
