I went to a vampire's ball this weekend with a couple of friends and I must say I was a bit disappointed. It was more like a lame halloween party with a vampire theme. The band sucked, the bar sucked, and there wasn't very much eye candy either. My friend who invited me to this told me that the past two years had been much better. They were more like goth vampire balls, which was what I was hoping for. It was held in a different location this year and apparently the place they normally have it at is much better suited for that sort of thing. More capacity for people, a real bar, and more rooms with different types of music. Plus the crowd is a lot better. Eh, oh well, it was something different to do.
