So I've survived another set of work. It's not accurate to call it a week, as it is only 4 days long. It is, however, four 12 hour shifts, which can be kind of rough.
As usual something wasn't perfect on Monday morning and I had to hear about it when I went back into work Monday night. I swear, some of the shit these people get upset over....apparently they've never dealt with a real problem (such as being stranded on an abandoned road in the middle of nowhere, your car broken down, and only a tire iron to fight off a hoard of zombies).
I have to miss the majority of the Necronomicon this weekend because of work. I'm going on Friday, but I'm a little conflicted as to what I should wear. I was thinking of going as Death, classic and pretty easy to do, but maybe a bit over done. Or I was considering getting a couple of latex horns, wearing a suit and going as one of the Devil's Lieutenants, such as Baal or Mephistophiles. I know that wouldn't be exactly easy to figure out just by what I'm wearing, but for the hell of it I was thinking of having business cards made up.
Anyways, I'm going to be going to 'the old country', as my brother calls it, for thanksgiving to do the family thing. I decided I needed more than just a week off work, so I took three. I can afford to do it, I have over 40 days of vacation on the books.
The Church doesn't want you to know that Jesus was a complete dick.
