Last night was pure bliss. I haven't done karaoke in a couple years, and it was beautiful to hang out with friends and let all my self-conscious trappings go for a few hours. In retrospect, it would have been better had I been wearing a dress. There were some guys there passing out flyers to a drag party next monday, and I was all excited to don my new black dress, get my makeup put on by the lovely hippomonki, and rock with a bunch of drag queens. Then I remembered that I have tickets to go see Prince play in Seattle that same night. It'd been on the backburner for a while, and I wasn't even sure if it was gonna happen, but now that it comes to it... what would you do?
