Just returned home from seeing the mighty Wolfmother play. A great show, to be sure; but I'm so exhausted from moshing/thrashing about, eating a bit too much, and being a little high that I'm lacking the words to aptly describe it. Another time, perhaps.
I'm relieved to find that I'm not the only one who's having a hard time getting up before noon these days. Speaking to a few other people who, like myself, are usually not prone to such laziness, it seems that the bitter cold of the past few days is keeping a lot of us bed-bound til far later than we ought to be. Alarm clocks don't work. Coffee is too far away and requires preparation. And perhaps most oddly, the number of hours slept is irrelevant. It just seems impossible to get up.
Point being that I am not remotely tired now.
So I will dally a bit on SG, listen to music, and drink cold Britta water. Water is something that doesn't get much recognition or respect in the drinking world. It's not a cultural staple like Pabst (especially up here) or a mark of sophistication like a fine red wine. But despite its lack of glamour, there is nothing more satisfying, more regenerating, more perfect than cold filtered water when you're worn out. Cold, cold water. I salute you.
December is here at last, folks. You know what that means... out with the bicycles, in with the veggies!

I detest mornings. It doesnt matter whether its cold outside or not, I dislike getting up early in the morning.

Which is a bad thing, considering I generally start work at 7:30AM.

Water is delectable. Love the stuff.

As for nanowrimo, I never heard of it before this time, Im not sure if its for me, seeing as I wish to have my novel published. Ive always had secret fantasies about being a novelist, ever since I was a child, in fact.

Perhaps, though, I will use one of my many other ideas, for next years.
