Yes, it's true. But I'm all for starting out now! I just get very excited about things.

Just returned home from seeing the mighty Wolfmother play. A great show, to be sure; but I'm so exhausted from moshing/thrashing about, eating a bit too much, and being a little high that I'm lacking the words to aptly describe it. Another time, perhaps.
I'm relieved to find that I'm not the only one who's having a hard time getting up before noon these days....

I detest mornings. It doesnt matter whether its cold outside or not, I dislike getting up early in the morning.

Which is a bad thing, considering I generally start work at 7:30AM.

Water is delectable. Love the stuff.

As for nanowrimo, I never heard of it before this time, Im not sure if its for me, seeing as I wish to have my novel published. Ive always had secret fantasies about being a novelist, ever since I was a child, in fact.

Perhaps, though, I will use one of my many other ideas, for next years.

And, for the record, how very Cancer of you to note that astrology is crap. wink Note that two of them said that in response to my journal!

Criminy, but it's cold out.

You know what I never do? Sit in bed under the covers with my Compy in my lap. I know it's a laptop, but it's connected to a bunch of things most of the time - external hard drive, printer, ethernet cable - that I rarely take it away from the desk. But thanks to the beauty of wireless, I'm...

It's very tease-y of them to put the "Export" command so prominently greyed-out in the toolbar of iTunes.

I just bought Radiohead's The Bends on vinyl. Life is good.

11:09 edit:

I just finished a 5000 word day on my novel. I do believe I'm going to make a grilled cheese sandwich, get stoned, and listen to Mitch Hedberg.

Rcok.

Apple's technical support makes you forget how maddeningly inept everyone else's tech support is. I couldn't get a simple assembly-line instruction query answered about something I just bought. After calling a few times I realized none of the Belkin ''techs' I spoke to were techs at all. Nor were any of them particularly articulate. One of them actually went so far as to suggest I...

I'm working on the rewrite of my first novel. Not doing Nanowrimo, just writing. I'd like to gradually discipline myself into being able to write every day over the course of this next year, but it will be a slow process.

It frustrates me at time that I have to work so hard to stay at the same level. To take it to a higher level? More work. And then I have to keep it that way. There are days I think moving to the woods and hiding would not be a bad thing.

I mean, come on. He pretty much cites me by name in this one.

Brrrr. It's so cold in this house. I didn't ever want to get out of the shower.

Go read my other blog. It's better.

It was a bustling scene down at the Elections office today. I was relieved to see that I was not the only one who had either not recieved/misplaced their ballot. I was feeling really fucking guilty about it, sure that there was no way to get a replacement one this late into the game. Hooray for democracy, I guess.

Tonight will be spent reading up...

So I finally saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest... and I have to say, the following review is spot-fucking-on:

Thank you. blush

I never made it all the way through that movie. I think we lasted 20 minutes. Not even Johnny Depp could redeem it for me.
hansel:
I saw it twice. It doesn't get better the second time. I don't know, I didn't really mind it though. It's not like I expect much from a movie about Pirates.
