As always, there were a lot of good photo sets from the Suicide Girls and Hopefuls last month. It would take way too long to write about all of the ones that caught my eye, but here are some of my favorites.
@janesinner started off the month by repeating as Set of the Day on July 2nd and July 3rd. It was a deserved honor; Lolita and Clean Body, Dirty Mind are extraordinary sets. @maximsamsonov and @darryldarko captured her beautifully in very different sets. In Lolita, she channels the youth and innocent (or not so innocent...) beauty expected of a "Lolita." Clean Body, Dirty Mind is just outright, no holds barred sexy. There is no doubt that her athletic petite figure is enticing but what really catches my attention are her smile and those eyes (I have a thing for her freckles, too...) While well shot by both photographers, these sets perfectly illustrate Janesinner's versatility as a model and show why she's quickly become one of my favorite Suicide Girls.
Another of my favorite Suicide Girls, @selene, proves in Speed of Light that keeping it simple also keeps it sexy. An all white bedroom background with nothing to distract the viewer, slowly shed tantalizing pink polka dot lingerie, and Selene's delightful natural curves - this is a perfect glamour/pinup style shoot! There there are her eyes; dark, teasing, enticing, sultry, but always burning right through you. This is simply another great set from Selene, a Suicide Girl we don't get to see enough of.
Feather Down is a wonderfully fun set from @bounty. Bounty is as gorgeous as always, but with the way @writeboy has captured her sparkling eyes and brilliant smile, you can't help but wonder if he also caught a glimpse of her personality. It truly looks like she was having a blast while shooting this set. It's just a great, campy shoot in the pinup tradition.
@natashalegeyda is strikingly beautiful and has a statuesque figure. She has a mysterious beauty and big brown eyes that are both intriguing and inviting. She's reminiscent of curvaceous beauties @gypsyy and @adria. Her set is a wonderful interpretation of and is named after Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus,” with beautiful Natashalegeyda rising from the water to reveal herself in all of her glory. It’s a terrific combination of a great theme, a simply gorgeous model, and great photography from @albertine.
@nancyy is another striking beauty captured through the lens of @gemmaedwardsuk (who by the way is becoming one of my favorite photographers on this site). Petite and curvy, bright and sultry - Nancyy is simply beautiful; her strawberry hair, dark green eyes, and freckled skin are just irresistible. Strawberry Bubblegum captures her in a simple, cozy setting that lets her beauty shine through.
Broken Dreams featuring @idunn and shot by Dorian Aguilera Espinosa is mind blowingly sexy. It left me speechless. Idunn's magnificent curves and sizzling presence in front of a bright, backlit setting is impossibly sultry. This is a powerful set and its sex appeal and heat just radiate from the screen. As far as I'm concerned it was THE set of the month. I hope Idunn and Espinosa have more in store for us!
