so...i'm playing all the dates solo, like a friggin troubadour, and then i'm re-booked to play again with my whole band in january. problem solved. i should make enough dough on the shows to last me thru the year, and by then, my recording i'm working on will be done and i can sell that at the dates in jan. whew.

my new drummer rocks....

my band's supposed to be playing in state college, pa at all the college music bars there for a week in early dec. meanwhile, my drummer is tits up, we have'nt rehearsed, i have no money or job, and i'm so horribly depressed cos i'm really psycho, that i sleep in until 2pm then sit around mumbling to myself until 4 am. when everything starts...

for halloween i'm going to the best party with all my favorite people...it's gonna be so much fun i can't wait. i have the greatest costume this year. i've been building it for the past two months, and i just finished the final coat of shellac yesterday...

i'm going again today (matinee), what a goon i am. but i'm mostly going cause this boy is going, so i'm going with him. i may know the show almost as well as you now.

i work in a private highschool in the bronx a few hours a week
and on halloween one of the female freshmen dressed up as "an 80s person." i was mortified. i mean, it was funny, but it was funnier how she didn't look like she was in costume, to me. off the shoulder sweatshirt with a tanktop underneath, leggings, one ponytail up on the side of her head.

it's funny and sick at the same time how we are "retro" to this age group.
